This One’s Personal: Why I’m Betting Everything on Community

Hello you beautiful humans,

This newsletter is going to be a little different. No tactics. No tips. Just truth.

Some of you know, June hit me hard.

Not because of one big thing, but because sometimes, when you’re an entrepreneur, the pressure builds in the background until it crashes down like a wave. That wave, for me, was anxiety. And this time, it knocked me flat.

Now, I’ve lived with anxiety for most of my life. I’ve built tools, habits, and practices to manage it. But this one, this one had me leaning heavy on the one thing that’s made all the difference in my life and business:

My people.

The ones who don’t flinch when I’m not okay.
The ones I trust enough to say “I’m not okay.”
The ones I’ve met over the years simply by showing up and having their back, too.

And here’s the thing I realized when I vulnerably shared about this on Linkedin:

So many of you are doing this alone.

You're building businesses without a real support system.
You're holding the weight of it all while your family doesn’t really get it.
You're looking for help and only finding marketing funnels disguised as “support.”
You're being preyed on by the false promises of high-ticket coaching echo chambers.

And it’s exhausting.
It’s isolating.
And it’s deeply unfair.

Most business coaching is broken.

The model is built to extract cash from already overextended entrepreneurs, often selling “systems” and “shortcuts” that sound good but weren’t built for you, your business, or your values.

Worse, these coaches make their money not from helping, but from selling the illusion of success.

I’ve watched brilliant people go broke chasing Instagram dreams and influencer lies.
I’ve seen founders spend $20,000 they didn’t have, while telling me Dare2Grow was “too affordable to be valuable.”

And yes, it stings. Sometimes I want to quit. Not because I don’t believe in what we’re building, but because I’m tired of watching the loudest marketers win, not the most helpful mentors.

The Dare2Grow Collective

That’s why I created the Dare2Grow Collective.

Not to be another coach.
Not to play the same game with fancier copy.
But to change the game entirely.

To build a real community , where entrepreneurs get honest, helpful support from people who’ve actually built something before.

Where mental health matters as much as marketing.
Where it’s safe to show up messy.
And where no one’s going to upsell you into burnout.

This Collective is not a quick fix or a “10x hack.”
It’s a steady fire. A safe room. A place to build with clarity and confidence.

The Plan

I am committed to growing the Dare2Grow Network. And I am building a powerhouse group of supporters.

We’re bringing in vetted experts.
We’re layering in more resources and perks.
We’re building a space that serves you, the heart-led, mission-driven entrepreneur who’s tired of the noise but still in the game.

And yes, I’ve been told this won’t work.
That I’m charging too little for people to value it.
That I should follow the high-ticket model “because it converts.”

But that’s not my path.

This is.
