This is costing your business

This week’s Newsletter is brought to you by:

The Linkedin Impact Accelerator

A fun, simple group program designed to help you unlock LinkedIn’s potential for growth by embracing your authentic voice, building genuine connections, and positioning yourself as a thought leader, without the fluff or inauthentic tactics.

Why Your Online Course Addiction Isn’t Helping You Succeed (And What Will)

This week, I met yet another entrepreneur who sheepishly confessed how much money they had spent on online courses they never completed. If this is hitting a little too close to home, don’t worry, you are not alone.

This particular entrepreneur had bought not one, not two, but FOUR different courses in the last year. And guess what? Not a single one had been completed. Now, they were considering shelling out even more for a high-ticket mastermind. Because obviously, more spending equals more success, right? (Spoiler alert: it doesn’t.)

I need you to know just how common this is. It’s practically a rite of passage in the online business world, paying for information without implementation. And it’s precisely why I structured Dare2Grow the way I did.

The False Promise of Online Courses

Originally, when I started working with my mentors, I was going to create an online course and drive traffic to it through LinkedIn. It made sense. It was a proven model. A lot of coaches were making bank doing it.

But here’s the catch: it worked for the coaches, not necessarily for the participants.

Sure, they got all the knowledge they needed wrapped up in a neatly packaged video series. But knowledge without action is just another expensive tab on your credit card. And no, watching half a module while scrolling Twitter doesn’t count as implementation.

The Hard (But Right) Way

I knew my accelerator was impactful. I knew it could change businesses and lives. But only if people actually used what they were learning. So instead of taking the easy road, I chose the hard way.

Live virtual workshops.

A real, engaged community.

Spread over 3 months.

Accountability baked into the process.

Because let’s be real: without accountability, that beautifully designed course dashboard is just another ghost town on the internet.

The Only Path to Success

I don’t want my participants to just feel like they’re making progress because they bought something new. I want them to actually experience success. And that only happens when they apply what they learn and implement new behaviors over time.

If you’re tired of collecting courses like trophies and never seeing real results, it’s time for a different approach. One that doesn’t just feed your dopamine hit from buying another program but actually moves the needle in your business and life.

So, before you whip out your credit card for that next “life-changing” course, ask yourself, will you actually use it?

Or do you need a space where learning meets action, and progress is inevitable?

If it’s the latter, well, I built Dare2Grow for you.
